Lori Pender

Lori Pender, PharmD, MPH, BCOP has over 20 years of experience in oncology. She began her career as a clinical pharmacist at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. While at Hopkins, she received a Master of Public Health degree, with a focus biostatistics and clinical trial design and analysis. She later moved to Seattle to work in Professional Services/Drug Information at Immunex (now Amgen), a large biotechnology company that marketed several oncology products at that time. Lori later worked as an oncology medical science liaison for a major pharmaceutical company before launching her consulting business in 2001.

Lori received her Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, her Master of Public Health degree from The Johns Hopkins University, and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Washington. She is a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist, certified Editor in the Life Sciences (ELS), and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy, where she participates in a mentor program and teaches principles of evidence-based medicine to PharmD degree candidates.
